If you would like to see most of the Mongolian traditions and one of the biggest Festival, during pleasant Summer times, we recommend our ‘Naadam’ Festival tour. The Festival consists from Mongolian traditional wrestling, horse racing and archery. Altogether, they are called “The three games of men”, not included in the “three games” ‘the ankle bone flickr’ is also gaining popularity. The purpose of the Festival was used to prepare soldiers for a battle and as a celebration after it. Therefore, a lot of ancient traditional elements can be seen during the Festival.

Day: 1. Ulaanbaatar city

Arrival at Ulaanbaatar city. Our team will pick you from the airport and transfer to the hotel. After refreshment at the hotel, we start our city tour which includes Chinggis square, Gandan monastery, Zaisan hill and welcome dinner at Mongolian restaurant.

Day: 2. ‘Naadam’ Festival Opening Ceremony

Today , we will attend the opening ceremony of ‘Naadam Festival. The festival is the one of the biggest nationwide holidays in Mongolia. People dress in their traditional costumes and the famous “the three games of men” begins. This includes wrestling, horse racing and archery. It used to serve as a way to train soldiers for battle and was also connected to Mongols' nomadic lifestyle.

Day: 3. ‘Naadam’ day-2

On the second day we will drive out of the city to see horse racing. Mongolian horse racing as featured in Naadam is a cross-country event, with races 15–30 km long. The length of each race is determined by age class.The winning jockey is praised with the title of tumny ekh or leader of ten thousand. The horse that finishes last in the Daaga race (two-year-old horse race) is called bayan khodood (meaning "full stomach").

Day: 4. ‘Terelj’ National Park

Drive to Terelj National park, visit Aryabal meditation temple. Hiking to the temple. Explore the national park. Horse riding is available. Overnight at Ger Camp.

Day: 5. Chonjin Boldog

Drive to Chonjin Boldog and see Chinggis Khan Monument. Visit its museum. Lunch at the local restaurant. Back to the city and Choijin Lama Museum.

Day: 6. Ulaanbaatar city

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Check in to the Hotel. See Mongolian traditional folk music and dance concerts, visit souvenirs, and cashmere outlet stores. Farewell dinner.

Day: 6. Departure

We will see off at the airport or at the hotel.
